University of South Dakota, Center for the Prevention of Child Maltreatment 

USD Center for the Prevention of Child Maltreatment
  • The Children’s Well-being Data Initiative Data synthesis and communication materials for a variety of audiences 

  • Qualitative Data Support  

    • Focus groups, development and execution, and resulting data analysis for various projects related to maternal and child health in the state of South Dakota.

  • Project Management 

    • Collaboratively design and manage high-visibility projects for CPCM

CLIENT

Feeding South Dakota

South Dakota Healthy Nutrition Collaborative Project
  • Develop advocacy capacity at Feeding South Dakota to effectively build relationships with key state legislators and agency officials.

  • Build a state-wide coalition of community-based organizations, advocates with lived experience, and other organizations to support systems and policy objectives.
  • Officially launched the SD Healthy Nutrition Collaborative in the Fall of 2024

  • Over 30 organizational partners and many individuals across the state are members of the Collaborative​

SDSU Extension Family, Food and Wellness Strategic Planning 

  • Build understanding among Capstone members across current programmatic objectives.

  • Collaboratively create a strategic plan, which aligns with the Capstone’s mission and vision.

National WIC Association, The State of WIC Report 

The State of WIC Report
  • Provide two chapters of the 2024 State of WIC Report

    • The content of these chapters include the health, economic, and other outcomes associated with WIC and the various efforts underway to improve the WIC participant journey, briefly summarizing outcomes and lessons learned so far. â€‹
